“I live in Illinois and my sister, who has MS, lives in Nevada. Since my sister’s husband’s death, my mom and I have been trying to piece together a support system for her. It has been nearly impossible and extremely frustrating. My sister’s physical and mental health had been deteriorating for years when we found Nathan through a google search. Within a month, Nathan had assessed her situation and found a placement for her in a group home. My sister’s physical and mental health have improved dramatically. She is no longer socially isolated. She has a health advocate who helps her get to and from doctor’s appointments and schedules any follow-up appointments. Nathan is a great communicator and tackles all roadblocks with a positive, professional, problem-solving approach. In addition to supporting my sister’s health, he has helped us navigate obtaining power of attorney and selling her house. Nathan’s experience and knowledge of available resources have transformed my sister’s life and freed us from worry for her health and safety.”

Nathan,

Thank you for all of your compassion and support with my parents…Actually all of us this year. We appreciate you! -T.O.

Nathan Brimm has been our father’s care manager for close to three years. Our father suffers from vascular dementia, a difficult and unpredictable disease. As we have come to know Nathan, he has shown great empathy and compassion for our father balanced with an ability to meet the inherent changes in his disease head on. His clinical experience as an RN, BSN as well as his expertise in dealing with people who can be difficult has proven to be a great source of support for our family. His kind and gentle yet firm guidance for our father has been critical as our dad moves through this disease. His number one goal is our father’s quality of life and safety. We are grateful for his guidance and suggestions. His recommendations have helped immensely to ease the burden of watching how dad’s disease has and will progress. He was also critical in developing a care plan and finding the best suitable situation for our dad. Nathan is very responsive and gets back to us right away when we reach out to him. He is 100% there for us and our dad which can be a delicate balancing act.

Nathan Brimm was recommended to us by my mom’s elder law attorney.  He has helped us navigate through the many and ever changing options available for an aging parent.  My mom’s case began with independent living followed by a fall, hospitalization, skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation, group care home and now hospice.  During this journey it has been invaluable to have Nathan’s guidance and support.  He fills a much-needed niche in our community.  Thank you, Nathan! -JH
